The Chinese Government Scholarship

Open to applicants of Master’s degree programs or doctoral programs only

Tuition, accommodation fee, international student’s health insurance, and living stipends covered

Living stipend for Master’s degree candidate: RMB 3,000 Yuan/month

Living stipend for Doctoral degree candidate: RMB 3,500 Yuan/month

Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship

Open to all international students doing different study programs

Tuition, accommodation fee, international student’s health insurance, and living stipends covered 

Living stipends for Bachelor’s degree candidate and the Chinese Language Program learner:  RMB 1,400 Yuan / month

Living stipend for Master’s degree candidate: RMB 1,700 Yuan/month

Living stipend for Doctoral degree candidate: RMB 2,000 Yuan/month

Yunnan Minzu University Special Scholarship

Open to a few international students from a few countries doing different study programs only

Tuition, boarding, health insurance, and living stipends covered 

Living stipends for Bachelor’s degree candidate and the Chinese Language Program learner:  RMB 1,400 Yuan / month

Living stipend for Master’s degree candidate: RMB 1,700 Yuan/month

Living stipend for Doctoral degree candidate: RMB 2,000 Yuan/month
