Admissions for Non-degree Chinese Language Training Program
I. Application prerequisites
1. Applicants must obey Chinese laws and YNU regulations, respect Chinese social ethics and customs, and with good qualities.
2. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, be in good health, have Physical Checkup standards for Applicants to Study in China given by Chinese Ministry of Education and possess valid passports.
3. Applicants must age between 16 and 55 years of age (inclusive).
II. Course Duration and Training Methods
Applicants mainly register for the program in spring (March 1st—July 10th) and autumn (September 1st—January 10th), and the application date may not be late than 20th December and 20th June. Those who can't catch the opening date shall enter in different classes in the middle of the term, but generally, all the applicants must have 3 months' course duration till the term end. There are 5 different levels of those language classes: Junior I, Junior II, Middle I, Middle II, and Senior. Each class normally has 15 students. Language course are compulsory and culture courses are elective. If applicants have attained a senior level of Chinese, they can study in Chinese undergraduate class.

III.Accommodation

IV. Fees
1. Application Fee
The application fee is 600 yuan/person. It will not be returned to the students who have not met admission qualification or not been admitted.
2. Tuition Fee
5,800yuan/person/semester;
11,600yuan/person/year.
International students should pay tuition according to the rules made by the Chinese Ministry of Education and Yunnan University. Tuition should be paid before the registration for each semester and can also be paid together by the educational system.
3. Accommodation Fee
Room for two:2700yuan/person/ semester;
Room for four:1350yuan/person/ semester.
Accommodation fee will be charged by year at the beginning of the first semester of each year.
4. Insurance Fee
800 yuan/person/year.
All in surance fee paid according to China's regulations.
5. Residence Permit Fee
The residence permit fee is 400 yuan/person/year and paid according to China's regulations.
6. The fee for health certificate is 450 yuan/person/year
V. Other
1. The Office of International Students Service is responsible for the routine management of international students.
2.Students should pay the application fee for studying in China by themselves.
3. School of International Education holds the explanation and interpretation rights of this recruitment brochure.
