According to the related document spirit of China Scholarship Council and Chongqing Education Commission, Sichuan International Studies University undertakes Chinese government scholarships support for local government programs. The enrollment and registration matters are as follows:
1. Categories of Applicants and Duration of Study
The duration of full-time graduates in school is two or three years. If students’ Chinese is not qualified for the requirements of major studies, a one-year-long remedial Chinese language studies is arranged before major studies. They will not be allowed to carry out major studies until they pass the examination for Chinese.

3. The Details of Scholarship
1) Exempt from tuition fee and the fee for accommodation;
2) The access to the comprehensive medical insurance for international
students in China;
3) Monthly living allowance (RMB 3000 yuan for master degree students per month).
4. Application Eligibility
1) Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
2) Applicants can’t be those who have already been studying in China (those
graduates who stay in China should have graduated for at least one year).
3) Applicants must have bachelor degree and be under the age of 35.
4) Applicants are not provided with any other scholarship.

CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
- Applicants for undergraduate program must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 25.
- Applicants for master’s degree program must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
- Applicants for Chinese language training program must have senior high school diploma and be under the age of 35.Chinese language is the only subject available.
- Applicants for general scholar program must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study and be under the age of 45. All subjects including Chinese language are available.
- Applicants for senior scholar program must have master’s degree or above, or hold academic titles of associate professor or above, and be under the age of 50.

5. Recommendation letters (only for postgraduate studies, or study in China as senior scholars)
6. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination due to the 6-months validity of the medical results.)
7. A study or research plan (It must be in Chinese or in English. Undergraduate applicants are required to submit a study or research plan of no less than 200 words, and no less than 800 words for graduate applicants.)
8. Articles or papers written or published.

1. Applicants must be registered in Sichuan International Studies University.
2. Applicants must abide by the laws and decrees of China and comply with rules and regulations of Sichuan International Studies University.
3.Applicants must do a good job in studies and behaviors.
4. Applicants are not recipients of any other scholarships at the same time.
II. Scholarship Coverage
President Scholarship is divided into the first-class prize, the second-class prize and the third-class prize.the first-class prize: 4000 CNYper student per semester;the second-class prize: 3000 CNYper student per semester;the third-class prize: 2000 CNY per student per semester.
