2019 Enrollment Guide for Undergraduates Majoring in MBBS in Shanxi Medical University 

Major:

MBBS（Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery）, the School Length is 6 years.Those who meet the graduation requirements can be issued "graduation certificates" and those who meet the degree-granting regulations can be awarded the "Bachelor's degree".

Application Requirement

1.In principle, a non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport, who are between the ages of 18 and 25 and in good health, graduated from high school or above are all required. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, For Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents who have applied as foreign students after immigrating to foreign countries, they should have a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate by April 30, 2014 and have certificates which are written off Chinese nationality.Besides, from April 30th, 2014 to the closing date of registration, there are records of actual living abroad for more than 2 years (Living in foreign countries for 9 months will be calculated in one year).

2.Performance Requirements

SXMU recruit students from all over the world. For those who want to enroll in the SXMU, applicants who have SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test), A-Level, IELTS, TOEFL scores will be given priority. Applicants must provide high school transcripts at the same time.

●Applicants with GCE A-Level scores are required to provide A-Level transcripts. Applicants' GCE A-Level subjects must have grades C or above.

●If the applicant provides a GPA for a high school course, the GPA must be 3.0 or above.

●Applicants who participate in the Indian states test: The total scores of all subjects in the test divided by the full scores of all subjects in the test needs to be 85% or above.

The courses referred to in the above grade requirements are mainly physics, chemistry, biology, and English, and are basic requirements for applicants' grades. SXMU will select applicants according to their comprehensive performance of SAT, IELTS, TOEFL IBT, GCE A-level and grades in high school.
