Application for CSC Scholarship

As Fujian Medical University is eligible to admit CSC ScholarshipInternational students, applicant can submit applications to the dispatching authorities for overseas study or the Chinese Embassy (Consulate General) in their home countries.

Application for Fujian Provincial Government ScholarshipProgram: 

MBBS program (taught in English)

Qualification of applicant: non-Chinese citizens over 18 and under 30 years old with a senior high school diploma and above, excellent school performance, good physical health (without color weakness, color blindness), qualified English language proficiency for medical majors and no breach of Chinese laws.

The length of schooling: 6 years

Fees

Application fee: RMB 800

Tuition fee: the scholarship may cover the tuition fee

Accommodation fee: RMB 4,000 per year

Other costs such as the cost of the teaching materials are subject to the actual situation.

Application and registration schedule

Application: from October 15th to August 30th

Registration: Autumn, but subject to Admissioin Letter

Documents Required

1. Application Form for Fujian Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students

2. Scan copy of original valid passport (pages with photo and address).

3. Scan copy of original highest diploma/degree /pre-graduation certificate and its notarized copy; Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

4. Scan copy of original transcripts of the most advanced studies and its notarized certificate; transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

5. Recommendation letter from school

6. Economic assurance or financial proof: documents proof of personal finance or sponsored by family, government and financial warrantor.

7. Detailed study plan (no less than 400 words)

8. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner.

9. Other attachments (if any): No-criminal record certificate, English proficiency certificate, HSK report,etc.

Review and admission

1. After the review of application materials and the interview, the eligible students will be offered a Pre-admission Letter;

2. After the assessment of applicant, the eligible students will be offered an Admission Letter (original hard copy) and JW202 Form upon the approval of superior leaders, which indicates that they are formally admitted.

3. Application materials will not be returned to applicant regardless of the results of application.

Accommodation fee: RMB 4,000 per year
