There are two semesters in one academic year:
Fall semester (usually September to next January)
Spring semester (usually March to July)

Application Deadline: Applications are accepted all year round.
Application Procedure: Applicants must submit the application documents bythemselves or by post to Office of International Students, College ofInternational Education, SCAU by the application deadline.

3. 2 2-inch photos (passport-photo size; one glued to application form; digitalformat also needed)

★Applicationdocuments will not be returned.
SCAU will evaluate the application documents and select qualified students,then issue Admission Letter and Visa Application for Study in China (FormJW202). It takes 1 to 2 months for the examination and approval of Form 202, sothe Admission Letter and the Form 202 will be ready within 3 months. Applicantswill be informed to come and obtain them or request a pre-paid mail service.Once applicants receive them, they may request a Chinese visa with them andcome to China to enroll in SCAU within the time given on the Admission Letterand the Form 202.
According to the relevant regulations of Ministry of Education of China,international students are required to purchase the medical insurance in China.The designated insurance in SCAU is Comprehensive Insurance & ProtectionScheme for Foreigners Staying in China of Ping An Annuity Insurance Company,Ltd and the fee is RMB 400/semester or RMB 800/year.
