Wuhan Sports University

    Surrounded by the East Lake on three sides, Wuhan Sports University (WSU) is located in the center of the city of Wuhan. At WSU, all kinds of sports facilities, such as, the Asian Boating Training Center, Sports Training and Testing Center, International Gymnastics School, Football School etc., serve the varied needs of competitive sports.

    WSU has 25 undergraduate programs, 12 graduate programs and 6 doctoral and post-doctoral programs in physical education and related fields. It has about 11,000 full-time students, including 1,034 postgraduates. Currently,WSU recruits international students as the host university of the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). Its self-sponsored international students are accessible to the Hubei Provincial Scholarship Program.

    Short-term Programs: In response to societal needs, we offer short-term programs in a broad range of special subject areas. These programs operate with different study periods and modes of study in order to accommodate the diverse needs of domestic and foreign students, including: Martial Arts Theory, Sanda (Martial Arts), Taolu (Martial Arts), Dragon Dance & Lion Dance, Chinese Qigong, Chinese Style Wrestling

     Life on Campus: On campus can be found a hospital, a bank office, two super markets, a laundry, three cafeterias and the best sports facilities including 36 tennis courts, 20 badminton courts, 2 football fields, 2 indoor swimming pools, 2 gymnasium, 1 slam ball training center etc.
