Chinese Government Scholarship

Introduction

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.

Content of the Scholarship

1. Full Scholarship

1)Exemption from registration fee, tuition fee and accomodation fee.

　Confucius Institute Scholarship

     For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes,facilitating international promotion of Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture, as well as cultivating qualified Chinese-language teachers and excellent Chinese language learners, Confucius Institute Headquarter/Hanban launches a "Conficius Institute Scholarship" program to sponsor foreign students, scholars abd Chinese language teachers to study Chinese in relevant universities in China.

     Category of Scholarship and Eligibility Criteria

     1.Category

　　1) Scholarship for master degree in MTCSOL

　　2)Scholarship for one academic year study+MTCSOL students

　　3)Scholarship for bachelor degree in BTCSOL

　　4)Scholarship for one-academic-year study students

　　5)scholarship for one-semester study students

　　6)scholarship for four-week study students

　　2.Criteria

　　1) Non-Chinese citizenship

　　2)aged between 16-35, in good health condition

　　3)Pass the HSK test and meet the scholarship requirements

Beijing Government Scholarship

Introduction

In order to promote the development of higher education of International students in Beijing, further improve the talent cultivation, scientific research, social service, and cultural exchange, Beijing Government has set up the Scholarship for International students. Applicants applying to CUEB could check with International Student Affairs Center at CUEB.

Category of Applicants and Duration of Scholarship

Students who wish to study and are studying in Beijing. 

1. Excellent international students who pursue degrees at Higher Education Institutions in Beijing. The duration of the scholarship is no more than 4 academic years. 

2. Chinese language students and senior scholars. The duration of the scholarship is no more than 1 academic year. 

3. General scholars. The duration of the scholarship is no more than 1 academic year. 

4. Exchange students and students with special contributions. The duration of the scholarship is no more than 1 academic year. 

Criteria of Scholarship

The scholarship covers tuition fees only, and it falls into the following five categories: 

CUEB Scholarship

Scholarship for New Foreign Student at CUEB

To encourage and support outstanding international students to further study at Capital University of Economics and Business (hereinafter referred to as CUEB), CUEB sets up a" New Foreign student scholarship of Capital University of Economics and Business ".

Categories of Applicants and Duration of Scholarship

This scholarship sponsors new outstanding foreign students who come to study the degree and language programs(for their first year).

Criteria of Scholarship

The scholarship partially covers fees of tuition, accommodation and allowance. For more details please check with International Student Office.

 Scholarship for Excellent(Academically)Foreign Student at CUEB

To encourage foreign students to study diligently and stimulate their innovation ability, Capital University of Economics and Business (hereinafter referred to as CUEB) sets up an " Excellent (Academically) Foreign student scholarship of Capital University of Economics and Business " to help students to improve the comprehensive quality as well as to promote the improvement of training quality.

Categories of Applicants 

This scholarship sponsors outstanding foreign students who study the degree programs at CUEB. 

Criteria of Scholarship

The scholarship  partially covers fees of tuition, accommodation and living expenses. For more details please check with International Student Office

Criteria & Eligibility

1.Applicants should be foreign students who have studied the degree program at CUEB for a complete academic year;

2.The student obeys the law of China, regulations of the university, works hard and behaves well;

3.According to curriculum design, the applicant has no make-up tests or retaking courses. And their academic score should meet the certain requirements.

4.Student who extends the program is not qualified for the application.

Scholarship for Foreign Student of Language Program at School of International Education,CUEB

To encourage foreign students to work diligently and learn Chinese well, School of International Education sets up the "Scholarship for Foreign student of Language program".

 Categories of Applicants  

This scholarship sponsors outstanding foreign students who study the language program for one or over one semester at CUEB. 

 Criteria of Scholarship

The scholarship is divided into several types: awards for perfect attendance, diligence, HSK awards, learning excellence.For more details please check with International Student Office
