Scholarship and Grant Information

Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship (for overseas students)

The scholarship will pay registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation, living expenses, medical insurance etc.

Living expense standards:

·Undergraduate students, Chinese language students: 600 yuan/month.

·Master’s students and Professional postgraduate students: 900 yuan/month.

·Ph.D. students and researchers: 1,200 yuan/month.

Application time: all the year.

YAU Scholarship for Overseas Students

• Full-Scholarship

The scholarship will pay tuition fee, accommodation(student’s apartment only). Also students will get living allowance monthly(10 months a year).

Living allowance standards:

Undergraduate students, Chinese language students: 600 yuan/month.

Master’s students:900 yuan/month.

Ph.D. Students:1,200 yuan/month.

Other cost shall be borne by students themselves.

• First-class Scholarship

The scholarship will pay tuition fee, accommodation(student’s apartment only). Other cost shall be borne by students themselves.

• Second-class Scholarship

The scholarship will pay 50% of the tuition fee. Other cost shall be borne by students themselves.

Application time: all the year.

Hong He Grant

For the overseas students who have studied for at least one year in YAU can apply for 4,000 yuan (per person) .

Application time: November.
