II. Scholarship Coverage
   
   1.The Confucius Institute Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee.

   2.Provides accommodation fee: RMB2,500 per month

   3.Host institutions provides scholarship holders with free dormitory rooms (usually double rooms).

   4. Comprehensive insurance for studying abroad

III．Eligibility

    1．Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study Students：This category provides a sponsorship for 11 months. Application is open to Confucius Institute (Classroom) students, overseas Chinese language teachers, Chinese major students and excellent performers in HSK test. International students who are now studying in China are not eligible for the scholarship. Applicant should be blessed with a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), and 60 in HSKK test (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should hold a minimum score of 180 in BCT (A) , and a minimum score of 180 BCT (Speaking).

   2. Scholarship for One-Semester Study Students：This category provides a sponsorship for 5 months. Applicant should have no prior experience of studying in China, but have a minimum score of 120 in HSK Test (Level 2), and a minimum score of 40 in HSKK (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should have a minimum score of 100 in BCT (A), and a minimum score of 120 in BCT (Speaking).

IV. Application Procedures

    1. Registration at HANBAN

      Finish online registration at http://cis.chinese.cn/ and completed the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application. Upload the electronic copies of required materials.

   2.Registration at HQUFL 

      1）On-line application

         Download from http://jigou.hqwy.com/web/News_View.asp?NewsID=7936 and fill in Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages Application Form for International Students

      2）Send the Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages Application Form for International Students and electronic copy of passport front page to hqjilin@aliyun.com.

      3）On-site application

          Go to HQUFL International Exchange and Cooperation Office and offer the required materials : hardcopy of Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages Application Form for International Students , passport, 8 passport photos.
