Located in beautiful coastal cityDalian,LiaoningNormal University(LNNU) was  founded in 1951, which is the largest and key teacher education center  inLiaoningprovince.

    Currently, the University has more than 1400  faculties and staffs, about 20,000 students including more than 1000 foreign  students from over 40 countries, such as USA, Japan, Russia, Germany and South  Korea, etc.

     LNNU has established 21 colleges and centers,  offering 83 undergraduate courses, 160 graduate courses,45 PhD courses and 3  postdoc programs.  Academic research is conducted at several centers in campus,  such as the Research Center for Basic Course of Ministry of Education, the Key  Research Center in the Humanities and Science of Ministry of Education, the  Marine Economy and Sustainable Development Research Centre of LNNU, the National  Level Continuing Education Training Center for Secondary and Elementary School  Teachers, the Authorized National Information Training Center, the Center for  Chinese Language Learning of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State  Council, the Dalian Examination Center for HSK Chinese Proficiency Test, the  Confucius Institutes at University of Miami(Ohio), Milan,the Dalian Examination  Center for Overseas Computerized of Ministry of Education, the International  Japanese Language Testing Center, IELTS Testing Center, and the Remote Learning  center. LNNU also hosts anInternationalBusinessSchool, a branch campus  ofSouthwest Missouri State University,USA.
