Scholarships

1.	Shanghai Government Scholarship Should first apply online Then print the Application Form of Shanghai Government Scholarship and submit the paper to the International Students Center (ISC) of Shanghai Normal University. Deadline for application is May 31 every year. Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) is divided into 3 classes. 1) Class A —For Master's applicants (about RMB 50,000 per year per student) and Ph. D. applicants (about RMB 60,000 per year per student) 2) Class B —For undergraduates, Master and Ph. D. applicants (about RMB 20,000 per year per student) 3) Class C —For registered undergraduates, Masters Ph. D. students (about RMB 5,000 per year per student)

2.	National Scholarships (SHNU is one of the authorized universities to accept international students sponsored by Confucius Institute Scholarship and China Government Scholarship.) 1) Confucius Institute Scholarship Applicants should first fill in the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form pplicants should then submit the Application Form and the related application materials to the Confucius Institute in the applicant's own country or the Chinese consulate or embassy in the applicant's own country. Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing of China is in charge of Confucius Institute Scholarship. 2) China Government Scholarship Applicants should submit the application materials to the Chinese consulate or embassy in the applicant's own country China Scholarship Council in Beijing of China is in charge of China Government Scholarship Note: International Students Center of Shanghai Normal University (Ms. Li & Mr. Qiao) is in charge of the application, enrollment, accomodation arrangement and other detailed things of the scholarship students who apply to study in Shanghai Normal University. 3.	Scholarship for Long-term Language Students offered by ICCS, SHNU （Applicants should be registered self-supporting long-term language students in ICCS of SHNU.

4.	Scholarship for Undergraduate Students offered by ICCS, SHNU （Applicants should be self-supporting undergraduate students who have registered in ICCS of SHNU more than 1 year.
